Hélène Binet

Hélène Binet est née en 1959 en Suisse. Entre 1982 et 1984, elle étudie la photographie à l’Institut européen de design, et l’histoire de l’art à l’Université de Rome. De retour à Genève, elle travaille deux ans au Grand Théâtre avant de se tourner vers la photographie d’architecture. Depuis lors, elle n’a cessé de collaborer avec les plus grands architectes contemporains parmi lesquels Daniel Liebeskind, Zaha Hadid et Peter Zumthor, dont elle illustre le travail pour de nombreuses expositions et publications. En plus de ces travaux de commande, elle mène également une démarche artistique plus personnelle sur des architectes tels que Alva Aalto ou Le Corbusier. Elle est lauréate du Grand Prix Olympus 2003.
