A pilgrimage which will lead you from the very first source of salt discovered in Switzerland six centuries ago to that antique salt mine of Dévens, where brine was evaporated opposite of the Dents du Midi in order to extract the precious condiment.
The salt road will make you relive an incredible saga, marked by famines, conquests and revolts. You will meet kings and smugglers, explorers and mercenaries, miners and men of knowledge, the devil, ogres and witches.
